Global visual technologies company Christie has announced it has signed a contract with Universal Parks and Resorts to become its official projection systems provider in the US.
According to the partnership, Christie is now Universal’s preferred partner for the buying and installation of projection software and hardware, as well as tailor-made solutions for upcoming attractions.
The deal applies to Universal’s theme park and CityWalk locations.
“Universal Parks and Resorts continues to push the limits of technology and innovation,” said Jeff Klaas, Christie’s vice president of sales, Americas. “Christie is honoured to have this long-term opportunity to bring its extensive technology and service resources to bear to support [Universal] venues.”
