photo: Tony Rumsey We are Capco is creating an accessible, castle-themed adventure play space in the grounds of Lowther Castle and Gardens in Cumbria, UK.
To open in July 2016, the ‘Lost Castle of Lowther' is being created deep in the woodland around the castle, and is costing £1m to build as part of a wider castle development scheme.
Built using local wood, the structure will incorporate elevated walkways and zip wires and the surrounding landscaping is being designed by award-winning British garden designer Dan Pearson.
Supplier: We are Capco NorwichNorfolkUnited Kingdom We’re happiest when working closely with in-house teams and operators to create something with a clear sense of place, that responds to the land and topography on which it is built and is distinct and unique. We don’t offer ‘kit-of-part’ play spaces but rather organic, natural play that builds upon the best there is to offer locally with the skills and experience we have gathered internationally.
